Knollwood Heights

Knollwood Heights is cozy neighborhood of more than 240 single-family homes located off Main Street (U.S. Hwy. 276) in Mauldin, SC.  This community of ranches, Cape Cods, split-level and two-story homes sit on large lots that are nestled in a natural wooded environment.

Most homes were constructed between 1966 and 1973. Over the past three decades, however, many families have fallen in love with Knollwood and found land to build new homes. Three homes were constructed in the 2000s.

The neighborhood includes a community pool secluded at the rear of the subdivision. Children, families and seniors can be seen walking and biking throughout the neighborhood in the morning, afternoon and night.

What makes Knollwood unique is that while it a quiet and tucked away community, it is also convenient to everything.

While Knollwood is within the city limits of Mauldin, the neighborhood is located near the border to the city of Greenville – less than two miles away from Greenville’s Verdae development, the Shops at Greenridge, and Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research. Downtown Greenville–  known for its arts, restaurants and entertainment – is within a 15-minute drive from Knollwood.

Meanwhile, the city of Mauldin offers convenient shopping, great schools, outstanding recreation programs, the Mauldin Sports Center and the Mauldin Cultural Center, where the art, science, nature and history are showcased through classes, workshops and performances.

Lake Conestee Nature Park, a 400-acre park of beautiful natural habitat on the Reedy River, is also less than five minues away. The park has hardwood and evergreen forest, extensive wetlands and a diverse wildlife, including more than 170 bird species reported by the Greenville County Bird Club.
