After months of planning, more than $2,500 has been raised to launch the Knollwood Neighborhood Association. The membership, representing more than 70 households, has also formed Knollwood's Community Vision.
In celebration, an Appreciation Dinner will be held for association members at Knollwood Pool, Sunday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m. Lasagna, tea, lemonade and desserts will be served.
Officer elections will also be taking place. Online voting begins at 9 a.m. on Sept. 28 and close Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. Paper ballots will be available during the dinner from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you would like to run for office, please contact the association. The current nominations for KNA Officers are: Frank Allgood, President; Salley Anderson, Vice President; Margaret Thompson, Treasurer; Patty Aldebol, Secretary.
