More than 25 people attended the Ice Cream Social for those 55 and up. Held July 19 at Knollwood Pool, residents enjoyed swingin' beach music and delicious ice cream sundaes.
For the first time this season, the lifeguards had to turn on the pool lights as the event ran long. Folks kept sharing stories on what turned out to be a rather mild summer evening.
The event was sponsored by the Knollwood Neighborhood Association.
